E. Disclaimer: Although all equipment is kept in peak operating performance, in the event of
mechanical failure resulting in the failure to play the music, the client will only be
charged a prorated fee up to the point of the failure, based on total event cost divided by hours
contracted (an additional 25% discount of that total will also be deducted for inconvienence).
Ability to operate on one speaker will allow the client the option to void contract or continue
with event at a 30% discount of total cost. Again, prorated @ a 30% discount of the hourly
rate for the hours music was operating on one speaker. If the DJ is unable to start the event be-
cause of mechanical failure the client will incur no cost and will be refunded any deposit money
(this and cancellation prior to 30 days, are only circumstances deposit will be returned), however
the DJ will not be responsible for any claim of damages because of lost entertainment for the
event. The DJ will do everything in his power to provide the entertainment in some fashion in the
event of this situation. Including attempting to supply replacement equipment with the client
again prorated for any time this may incur. Mechanical failure of any peripheral equipment (i.e.
microphone, lights, etc.), if requested, will not void contract but result in a $30 refund for each
item that can not be repaired or replaced prior to start of event, and prorated if failure occurs once
the event has begun based on $10/hr (max $30). Due to the nature of the computerized DJ system,
storage is a factor in the DJ’s play list. Although the music library contains an extremely large quantity
of songs, lack of any particular song or songs will not be reason for client to void contract, client has
option (above) to request any particular song(s) prior to the event. If the DJ does not have the song
he will make every reasonable attempt to obtain the song(s), however failure to do so will not void
contract. DJ also has ability to play songs from provided CD’s.
